Acclaim Summary
91 Points
Elegant… very well structured… lot of coffee grounds and dark chocolate… ripe berry and plum.
94 Points
Like the Leonetti recommended here, this is sourced from two of Walla Walla’s most prestigious vineyards, Seven Hills and Pepper Bridge... Leafy and bright, with scents of tobacco and a juicy, silky black core. Those scents carry into flavor, sinewy and lithe, with fine tannins that give way to a fruit-driven finish. Its strength comes from its lightness and elasticity rather than power. Extraordinary now, it will reward the patient. — Wine & Spirits’ 100 Best Wines of 2006
Gold Medal, 90 Points — Exceptional

Roasted aromas of plum, tar, oak char, and lots of earth. Polished, though quite earthy flavors of blackberry, tobacco and ample oak. Silky finish, big on black fruit.
Gold Medal

The finest wine I've tasted to date from this young winery... this powerful beauty bursts from the glass with floral and black fruit aromas. Medium- to full-bodied, spicy, and peppery, it slathers the palate with copious quantities of pure blackberries and tar.
