92 Points
A savory, satisfying merlot from Pepper Bridge, this has a fine, woodsy spice scent that supports the fruit. Its flavors are savory and full-bore — black cherries in an espresso bath — gaining some of its depth and amplitude from sumptuous oak. It has the weight for wild game, like pheasant.

Richly layered flavors... Intense and complex.
Outstanding! Black currants, allspice, mace and chocolate spill into a latte of aromas. Mexican hot chocolate on the finish.
90 Points
Aromatic profile reveals spicy black fruits and smoky oak. Medium to full-bodied and velvety-textured, it displays a broad, lush personality awash in candied blackberries. Seamless and suave, this is a full-throttle Merlot that is packed with flavor as well as ripe tannin.

Gold Medal
THREE STARS… Excellent!
Smoky oak dominates the nose, yet pure black cherry and black plum flavors come alive on the palate. There are touches of leafy herb and dark chocolate, too, in this stylish wine with polished tannins and crisp natural acidity.
Silver Medal
91 Points: Best of Washington Wines
