Mark Hester

A native of the Seattle area, Mark joined Pepper Bridge Winery in July 2015. He began his career in the aviation industry, working for both Pan Am and Alaska Airlines. Mark later moved on to The Boeing Company as a Sr. Manager in the Customer Service division where he led a large team providing services to their airline customers. Mark retired from Boeing in June 2015.

Mark's first Walla Walla Valley wine adventure occurred in 2000 when he made his initial visit to wine taste. He was so impressed with all the great wines in the area that he and his partner returned multiple times during succeeding years as the valley's wine industry prospered. Although there was an abundance of wonderful wine options here, Pepper Bridge Winery has remained his all-time favorite. He became a member of the Pepper Bridge Wine and Vine Clubs, and subsequent visits instilled more than just a love of the valley's wine, enticing him to move to Walla Walla when retirement beckoned.

It was an easy transition becoming a part of the Pepper Bridge family.  Mark is well acquainted with all of the great wines that Pepper Bridge produces. He hopes to ensure that customers have an outstanding experience at our winery and with our fine wines.
