2011 Cabernet Sauvignon

« Back

Elegant and approachable, this Cabernet Sauvignon immediately entices you with aromatics of black cherry and vanilla cola. These notes carry over to the palate and are met with hints of blue and blackberries, enhanced by rich elements of cloves, coffee and cocoa. The soft, supple tannins of this wine melt into a long and lingering finish, leaving you eager for more.

the 2011 vintage

From beginning to end, this was a cool year. The Walla Walla Valley experienced no 100-degree days for the first time in well over a decade. Despite the cooler weather, our vineyards were still able to reach full ripening, with harvest occurring approximately three weeks late. The longer hang time led to layered, nuanced flavors with vibrancy and natural balance.

Awards & Accolades
91 Points, Wine Enthusiast: "...this wine shows intriguing aromas of anise, cassis, herb and woodspice. It still seems to be in its shell. The flavors are dense and supple, rich but restrained with the tannins combed to a fine sheen."
