  • About Pepper Bridge Winery

Pepper Bridge Winery is a family-owned estate winery rooted in the heart of the Walla Walla Valley. A pioneer in the region, we are known for Bordeaux-style wines that reflect structure, balance, and a deep sense of place.

Every bottle begins in our sustainably farmed estate vineyards and is crafted with meticulous attention — from gravity-flow winemaking to aging in 100% French oak. With a philosophy that blends innovation and tradition, Pepper Bridge Winery invites our guests to slow down, savor, and discover what makes Walla Walla a wine region to experience.

Founded in 1998, Pepper Bridge Winery honors a multigenerational legacy of farming, winemaking, and stewardship—producing limited-production wines that age beautifully and tell the story of Walla Walla with every pour.

At Pepper Bridge Winery, we invite our guests to slow down, savor, and discover what makes Walla Walla a truly world-class wine region. From our cellar to your table, our wines are made to be experienced, not just tasted. Visit us, you are always welcome!

  • Beer & Wine: How are they alike?

Beer and wine share some similarities despite being quite different beverages:

    1. Fermentation Process: Both beer and wine are fermented beverages. They are made through the process of converting sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide with the help of yeast.
    2. Ingredients: Both beer and wine primarily consist of water, yeast, and sugars (from grains for beer and from fruits like grapes for wine).
    3. Varieties: Like wine, beer comes in a wide variety of types and flavors, influenced by ingredients, fermentation methods, and aging processes.
    4. Social and Cultural Role: Both beer and wine have significant cultural and social roles in various societies around the world, often associated with celebrations, rituals, and social gatherings.
    5. Pairing with Food: Both beer and wine are often paired with food to complement flavors and enhance dining experiences.

While they share these similarities, they also have distinct characteristics that make each unique in taste, production methods, and cultural significance.
