Cristina Lugo

Tasting Room Associate | Walla Walla
Cristina Lugo

Cristina was born and raised in Walla Walla. She left temporarily to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science from Hilbert College in New York, followed by a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from California Baptist University. She is currently working towards a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.

After devoting 8 years at the Washington State Penitentiary working in the Education Department as a Program Coordinator then promoting to Education Navigator, Cristina decided it was time for her to expand to something with further potential for development and growth and employ her hospitality experience and wine knowledge that she gained while working part-time at Pepper Bridge Winery for the past 4 years.

She has always valued that Pepper Bridge Winery is family-run, and when the Tasting Room Manager position became available in 2023, she wasted no time in applying and enjoyed pursuing a new adventure with the company.

In 2025, she was offered to the opportunity to practice as a mental health provider as she finishes her doctorate. She looks forward to remaining with the team as a tasting room associate, joining in the bustle on the weekends.

Cristina loves dogs and is the very best Pepper Bridge Winery dog greeter. She enjoys spending time with family and her own two dogs.

She can be reached at tastingroom@pepperbridge.com.
