Heidi Griggs was born and raised in Kalama, Wash., with a graduating class of 32 people. She began her career in the restaurant industry working in her family’s restaurant at the age of 14. She moved to Vancouver, Wash., in 1998 and spent the next 10 years working at, and eventually managing, a farm-to-table restaurant.

After dedicating 26 years to the restaurant business, it was time for her to branch out to something with further growth potential and that utilized her hospitality experience and wine knowledge. After reading about the Pepper Bridge Winery & Amavi Cellars tasting room opening on the Vancouver Waterfront, Heidi wasted no time submitting her resumé. After her first conversation with Partners Eric McKibben and Jean-François Pellet, she knew it was the family-run atmosphere she was used to and looking for.

Heidi has a teenage son with whom she loves traveling, riding dirt bikes, and scuba diving in warm waters. Her son is also involved in baseball 9 months out of the year, which keeps them both very busy but also in the sun, which they love.
