Susan Buchanan

A native of Western Washington, Susan lived in Montana and Illinois before moving to the Walla Walla Valley in 2000 to join Whitman College as their Career Center Director. Her BA in History from the University of Washington and an MEd in Counseling laid the ground work for her career of 28 years in higher education.

Upon retirement in 2014, she joined Pepper Bridge Winery and has enthusiastically learned about wines and and the wine industry since her start.

Her passion is gardening and she will soon complete the Master Gardening program through the Washington State County Extension office and serve as a volunteer to assist gardening enthusiasts from the Walla Walla Valley.
